It was the most dreadful time of the year. I've hated it since elementary school, and nothing yet has given me a reason not to. This was the week I just wanted to curl into a teeny tiny ball and emerge after all hell had broken lose. But of course I couldn't do that. I had to put up with it just like every year Valentine's Day. Although it was on a Tuesday this year, the celebrating started on the previous Wednesday and went to the Friday after. I didn't mind WHY people were celebrating, I mean, love is a wonderful thing! But it was HOW it was celebrated. The millions of flowers passed around, the chocolates they stuffed their faces with, and how can we forget the PDA? It should stand for Parental Discretion Advised, not Public Displays of Affection.
